Manage InnovAge's HR onboarding process, guiding new hires through pre and post-hire steps and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance onboarding efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the InnovAge onboarding process, including leading managers, new hires, and potential candidates through all pre and post hire steps
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations for onboarding
- Delegate, complete, and oversee onboarding duties like reporting, candidate tracking, and communication
- Lead team projects and objectives under the supervision of the Director of HR Compliance
- Review vendor invoices, track, and resolve discrepancies within the HR Compliance Onboarding Space
- Establish best onboarding operational practices to support compliance
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance onboarding efficiency and effectiveness
- Guide new candidates through the pre-employment process, providing one-on-one support
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for pre-employment screenings (background checks, drug screenings, health screenings)
- Gather and process new hire documents, ensuring compliance with CMS, state, local, and internal guidelines
- Support I-9 employment verification and reverification administration
- Audit team accuracy and compliance with background checks and all personnel clearing requirements
- Perform accurate and prompt data entry for all InnovAge workers
- Support the HR team in compiling and maintaining personnel files
Requirements
- Five years of Human Resources Support experience
- One year of Human Resource Lead Position Experience
- Five years of administrative support experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment
- CMS and State Governing Body Regulation Knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field from an accredited college OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Five years of Human Resources Support experience, one year of Human Resource Lead Position Experience, and five years of administrative support experience
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field
- Five years of HR Onboarding experience across multiple states
- Three years of HR compliance or corporate compliance experience
