HR Director

About This Role

This role involves championship, development, and implementation of consistent property-wide strategies to deliver products and services that meet or exceed brand expectations. The Director oversees the efficient administration and management of the Human Resources function for the resort.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the Human Resources Department's strategy in conjunction with Corporate guidelines and initiatives
• Advise managers on how best to resolve colleague issues and concerns; counsel with colleagues and managers, as needed
• Develop, direct, and oversee overall hotel recruitment and hiring activities
• Create, coordinate, and execute training initiatives
• Execute and follow-up on Colleague Relations activities
• Oversee the Induction / Onboarding process
• Focus on colleague development for future career growth
• Provide overall functional supervision of HODs for all their HR related matters

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position in a hotel with training experience
• Working knowledge of local employment laws
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Great attitude and service oriented
• Team player

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a similar position in a hotel with training experience

• Previous pre-opening experience
• Previous resort experience
