This position provides support to the Human Resources functions and the organization by providing excellent customer service to, and being the first HR point of contact for all facility employees as well as the public. The HR Administrative Assistant will engage with HR Functional Pillars including Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, Employee Recognition and Engagement, Benefits, Payroll/Timekeeping, etc. with a broad range of scope.
Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for any internal and external customers entering the office, providing excellent customer service in a people-oriented manner
- Provide support for new hire orientation and onboarding activities
- Organize and track information via spreadsheets and various digital platforms
- Coordinate employee engagement events and activities
- Be the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions
- Receive, process, and file paperwork, invoices, mail, etc.
- Assist with duties related to recruitment
Requirements
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- A demonstrated customer service-orientation
- Must be able to prioritize an assigned workload
- Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resources preferred; a combination of education/work experience will be also considered
- 1-3+ years of HR Administrative or Office experience preferred
