Housekeeping Inspections Floor/Guestroom Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise Room Attendants and ensure the cleanliness and quality of hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies, while also managing housekeeping operations and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to Room Attendants and train associates in housekeeping duties
• Inspect hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies, and record inspection results
• Adjust guests’ complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment
• Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements
• Ensure key control policies
• Interview, select, and train associates
• Direct the work of associates and appraise their productivity and efficiency
• Handle associate complaints and discipline associates
• Plan and control the budget for housekeeping operations
• Provide for the safety and security of employees and property

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience
• Familiarity with regulations of material safety data sheets when using chemicals
• Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects
• Ability to plan the work of others

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience required
