About This Role

Perform daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms and other areas of the hospital, including nursing stations, restrooms, and offices, to maintain a sanitary environment. This role involves utilizing various tools, equipment, and chemicals while also handling trash and soiled linen transport.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms and other ancillary areas in the hospital
• Clean nursing stations, restrooms, and offices to maintain a sanitary environment
• Utilize various tools, equipment, and chemicals for cleaning tasks
• Complete cleaning requests for check-outs and transfers on a daily basis
• Collect trash and soiled linen to transport to the appropriate storage area
• Maintain furniture in patient rooms, offices, and other ancillary areas in an orderly fashion
• Observe equipment, furniture, etc., and report necessary repair or replacement
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe, and orderly manner

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write the English language
• Ability to maintain frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing or pulling
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred
