Housekeeper / Laundry Aid

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within a rehabilitation and nursing care facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and laundry services. The position requires a commitment to safety protocols and may involve interaction with residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways
• Disinfect surfaces, particularly in bathrooms and high-touch areas
• Change bed linens and replenish towels and amenities
• Sort, wash, and fold laundry
• Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products, toiletries, and other necessary items
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to management
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Interact with residents to address their needs or concerns
