The Hotel Maintenance Tech will ensure the facility and equipment are in top shape by conducting routine inspections, performing necessary repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance protocols to maximize equipment life and minimize safety risks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to ensure efficient operation and perform needed repairs
- Inspect the building for structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
- Record when equipment was serviced and repairs were made
- Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
- Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Over 2 years of maintenance experience
