Host Family to an Exchange Student

About This Role

Become a host family for a high school exchange student, providing a safe, nurturing home and an immersive American cultural experience. This role supports Education Travel & Culture's mission to foster global understanding through educational exchange programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and nurturing home environment for the exchange student
• Provide the student with a private room or a shared room with a similar-aged host sibling, and their own bed
• Offer three meals per day to the student
• Facilitate transportation to and from school and for extracurricular activities
• Provide love and support to the exchange student
• Explore and share cultural differences and similarities with the student

Requirements

• Ability to provide a safe and nurturing home environment
• Ability to provide a room (shared or private) and bed
• Ability to provide 3 meals per day
• Ability to provide transportation to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Willingness to provide love and support to a student
