Lead the financial operations of a hospital, ensuring fiscal viability by establishing and monitoring financial plans and budgets. Manage financial affairs in compliance with business goals, sound practices, hospital policies, and government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the financial viability of the hospital
- Establish and monitor financial plans and budgets
- Manage financial affairs in accordance with business unit goals, sound business practice, and hospital policies
- Comply with various government regulatory requirements
- Plan, organize, and direct the fiscal services department
- Develop, interpret, coordinate, and administer organization's policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing
Requirements
- BS Degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressively responsible finance experience
- Excellent management and communication skills
Qualifications
- BS Degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
- Five or more years of progressively responsible finance experience, with previous financial experience in an acute care setting preferred.
