The Home Phlebotomy Specialist coordinates in-home blood draws for patients as ordered by physicians. This role involves managing patient communication, tracking scheduling, and ensuring accurate case updates.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient communication to coordinate appointments and address inquiries
- Coordinate and monitor home phlebotomy services
- Provide accurate and timely updates to the field team and client services
- Ensure Network Independent Contractors have adequate kit stock and enter orders into the KODS system for delivery
- Collaborate in the development and execution of process improvements for home phlebotomy
Requirements
- Ability to adapt to emerging situations and respond with a sense of urgency
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Organized with attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA regulations and proper handling of protected health information (PHI)
- Effective communication and coordination with internal departments
- Adherence to all standard operating procedures within Quality Management System
- 1-3 years customer service or data entry experience
