About This Role

Join Sunlight Senior Care as a Homemaker to provide compassionate non-medical support, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. This role focuses on promoting dignity and independence for elderly or disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living space
• Change bed linens and assist with laundry
• Help clients dress and undress as needed
• Offer medication reminders (no administration)
• Prepare and serve healthy meals
• Assist with feeding if necessary
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Document services provided in line with company standards
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, hygiene, and respect

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Successfully completed required homemaker or home care training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to read, understand, and follow care instructions and documentation protocols
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates compassion, reliability, and respect for elderly or disabled individuals
• Must pass a competency test with a minimum score of 80%
• Maintains excellent personal hygiene and professional demeanor
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle in good working condition
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check
