The Heavy Haul Owner Operator will be responsible for transporting overweight and oversized freight both locally and over the road. This role requires experience with various trailer types and strict adherence to DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Haul overweight and over dimensional freight both locally and over the road
- Pull flatbed, step deck, double drop, RGN, and expandable trailers
- Operate within all DOT laws and regulations
- Manage axle weight distribution
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in heavy/specialized trucking
- Possess a Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Experience in hauling oversized, overweight, and permitted loads
- Experience with axle weight distribution
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 60 lbs
- Pass drug test, background check, and DOT physical
- Truck must be 15 years old or newer
