About This Role

Join a family-owned business as a Heavy-Duty Truck Sales Representative. You will manage new and used vehicle sales and leases, focusing on customer satisfaction and meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Approach and greet customers entering the sales office or lot
  • Assist customers in vehicle selection by determining their needs
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective clients
  • Describe optional equipment available for purchase to customers
  • Offer test-drives to prospects after obtaining proper identification
  • Process and complete required paperwork for deal jackets
  • Prepare and deliver sold vehicles to customers, explaining operating features and warranty
  • Perform post-delivery follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a prospect development system
  • Stay current on new products, features, and accessories
  • Attend training and participate in sales meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of Truck or Heavy-Duty Equipment sales experience and/or training
  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License
  • Proficient with OEM provided programs such as SpecPro, Fusonet, DTNA Connect, The Dash
  • Knowledge and comprehension of federal and state regulations governing medium- and heavy-duty equipment sales
  • Knowledge of heavy/medium duty truck and trailer industry
  • Effective oral communication and presentation skills
  • Able to establish and maintain effective customer relations
  • Math skills to calculate discounts, interest
  • Computer literate with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Current state sales license

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Minimum of one year of Truck or Heavy-Duty Equipment sales experience and/or training
