About This Role

This role provides essential admissions office support for a healthcare facility, managing the referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions process for chronically and critically ill patients. The position serves as a back-up to the Admissions Manager, ensuring smooth operations for patients requiring extended hospital care.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year experience in a medical office position or in a healthcare registration function
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Knowledge of process of insurance verification

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Business or Technical School is preferred.
• At least one (1) year experience in a medical office position or in a healthcare registration function. Preferred candidates must have at least 2 years of insurance experience.
