Health Educator

About This Role

The Health Educator will provide biometric testing services and health education at various events in the Southeast region. This role involves explaining screening results, offering health recommendations, and ensuring the successful execution of events while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Review and explain participants’ screening results (height, weight, BMI, body fat percentage, waist measurement, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose)
• Provide brief interventions to help participants understand actionable behaviors influencing their health
• Offer appropriate health recommendations to participants as needed
• Maintain records of interactions with screening participants as directed by Labcorp Program Manager
• Ensure successful setup, execution, and breakdown of events
• Provide exceptional customer service to participants

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse or Dietitian with experience in health psychology and motivational interviewing
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
