Serve as a Head Teller and Lead Customer Service Representative, providing excellent service to members and offering leadership and training to banking staff. This role focuses on member satisfaction, financial requests, and administrative tasks within a credit union.
Responsibilities
- Ensure member satisfaction by guiding staff in providing excellent service
- Train new tellers on policies and procedures, leading by example
- Assist members with financial requests, tailoring services to their needs
- Describe loan and credit options, explaining terms of service
- Proactively offer additional lending products and savings tools
- Resolve member complaints calmly and professionally using problem-solving skills
- Act as vault teller, counting, packaging, and controlling money
- Complete night deposits
- Perform administrative tasks such as reviewing legal documents and obtaining credit histories
- Compile forms and manage records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lending experience
- Cash handling experience
- Customer service experience
- Sales experience
- Experience in a leadership role
- Proficiency with administrative tasks such as data entry and record management
- Ability to use office equipment including fax machines, printers, and adding machines
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Excellent math skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
