Develop, lead, instruct, and evaluate tennis, pickleball, and other racquet sport programs. This role involves coordinating schedules, staffing, overseeing personnel, and performing administrative duties for the City of Surprise.
Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, instruct, and evaluate tennis, pickleball, and other racquet sport class and lesson programs
- Prepare and coordinate the master schedule for programs
- Staff specific programs, including recruitment of instructors and officials
- Oversee Associate Tennis Pros, part-time staff, and volunteers
- Perform administrative duties such as compiling data and preparing reports
- Solicit bids for programs or equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Two years teaching experience as a head tennis/racquet sport professional
- PTR Level 3 Tennis Certification or USPTA Level 3 or higher
- First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain within one month)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
