This Head Athletic Trainer role involves leading all sports medicine services for Westchester Soccer Club (USL League One) under a full-time contract. The position focuses on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols for professional soccer athletes. It also includes leadership responsibilities within The Athletic Training Room, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all sports medicine services for Westchester Soccer Club (USL League One)
- Manage injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols
- Provide daily training, match coverage, and travel as required
- Maintain medical documentation and league compliance standards
- Coordinate care with team physicians and performance staff
- Serve as a clinical and professional leader within The Athletic Training Room
- Collaborate closely with coaches, performance staff, physicians, and front office personnel
Requirements
- NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (active and in good standing)
- Eligible for New York State licensure
Qualifications
- Experience in soccer and/or professional sports preferred
