Guidewire Business Analyst - Expert P&C Insurance Billing

About This Role

This role is for a P&C Insurance Billing Technical Business Analyst to manage production support, analyze complex business needs, and lead projects. It involves documenting detailed requirements, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring system alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Handle production support, including incident cleanup, new incident management, Jira/Service Now ticket management, and reconciliation correction coordination
• Analyze complex business needs and processes, document detailed requirements, assess feasibility/costs, and recommend optimal solutions
• Lead and manage projects, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive problem resolution to meet customer expectations
• Design and oversee release testing (test strategies, cases, monitoring) and review/approve system behavior
• Communicate and train stakeholders, prepare user documentation and communication plans, and provide technical/user support

Requirements

• 12+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Proven ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience supporting cross functional delivery with engineering and operations
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform priorities and measure outcomes (SQL, Excel, or BI tools)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile practices and backlog management

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role; experience in P&C billing, payments, policy integration, or finance systems preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in P&C billing, payments, policy integration, or finance systems
• Experience with legacy system rationalization, migration planning, or integration mapping
• Knowledge of insurance billing platforms or payments integrations (OneInc, CollectOne, Adyen)
