About This Role

Serve guests in a fast casual restaurant, ensuring their satisfaction from order placement to meal service, and adhering to all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
  • Take orders and input them into the Point of Sale computer
  • Retrieve order from kitchen, confirm accuracy and deliver to guests
  • Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Abide by all state and federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Valid Food Worker Card
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time

Nice to Have

  • Minimum of one year of previous serving experience
