This Guest Liaison role involves assisting guests with a wide range of requests, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will interact with guests professionally, handle various communications, and utilize software for bookings and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding services, hours of operations, key personnel, in-house events, and directions through telephone, mail, and in-person conversations
- Process outgoing and incoming packages, faxes, messages, and mail accurately and timely
- Comply with Work Rules and Standards of Conduct, reporting any deficiencies to management
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, supervisors, and third-party vendors
- Provide unique concierge knowledge and execution, assisting guests with recommendations and reservations for food and beverage, leisure, transportation, and professional services
- Assist guests with bringing in, delivering, and storing luggage
- Utilize a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements, assure proper billing, and follow up on work orders
- Assist with hotel reservations, including quoting, creation, and modification
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for in-room services such as Internet, TV movies, games, and Web service
- Learn resident/guest names and anticipate needs while exceeding expectations
- Be available to work unique hours including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as per management discretion
- Effectively troubleshoot and utilize conflict resolution skillsets to make point-of-contact decisions
- Complete required daily reports and checklists
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent; High School Degree or equivalent
