About This Role

Sharpe Search is seeking a Growth Engineer for a hedge fund at the intersection of Finance, Data Science, and Crypto, instrumental in building the growth engine for a data science tournament. This role involves developing and maintaining websites and APIs to drive marketing, user engagement, and community tools, as well as managing an Ethereum ERC-20 token treasury and integrating with web3 smart contracts.

Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain public-facing websites and APIs to drive marketing campaigns, growth initiatives, user onboarding, engagement, and community tools
Bridge marketers, engineers, and data scientists to build valuable features
Manage Ethereum ERC-20 token treasury
Integrate with decentralized web3 smart contracts for seamless user experiences
Support PR, community outreach, and Discord operations
Participate in on-call rotations for backend reliability

Requirements

Experience with modern front-end technologies (Vue or similar JS framework)

Nice to Have

Elixir experience
Python experience
Familiarity with Terraform/CI-CD
Experience with stats/data visualization
Knowledge of growth tactics
Experience with community building
Familiarity with crypto/web3
