This role involves working with roasting ovens and grills to prepare meals, ensuring food procedures are followed and sanitation guidelines are met. The Team Member will also assist with meal planning, menu review, and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Meal planning in conjunction with Leadership
- Review menus prior to preparation of food
- Assure that all food procedures are followed
- Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
- Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
- Follow all sanitation guidelines
- Become familiar with new menu items/dishes
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience
- Demonstrated cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
- Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
- Food Service Sanitation Certificate (or obtain within 30 days of employment)
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
Nice to Have
- Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training
- Experience with quantity food preparation
