Grill / Oven Chef

About This Role

Join our team as a Grill / Oven Chef to prepare fresh, bold dishes, managing meal planning and ensuring food safety and quality standards in our kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Plan meals in conjunction with Leadership
• Review menus prior to preparation of food
• Assure that all food procedures are followed
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
• Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
• Follow all sanitation guidelines
• Become familiar with new menu items/dishes

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience
• Demonstrated cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
• Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate (obtainable within 30 days of hire)

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required

Nice to Have

• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training
• Experience with quantity food preparation
