About This Role

Join as a Grill/Oven Chef to prepare meals, ensure quality and sanitation, and manage food supplies for our restaurant. This role involves working with current menus and assisting with new dishes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan meals in conjunction with Leadership
  • Review menus prior to food preparation
  • Assure that all food procedures are followed
  • Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
  • Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
  • Follow all sanitation guidelines
  • Become familiar with new menu items/dishes

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience
  • Demonstrated cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
  • Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
  • Food Service Sanitation Certificate

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required

Nice to Have

  • Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training
  • Experience with quantity food preparation
