This role is for a Team Member responsible for operating roasting ovens and grill, ensuring all food procedures are followed, and coordinating food service. The position requires a focus on meal planning, menu review, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Work roasting ovens and grill
- Assist with meal planning in conjunction with Leadership
- Review menus prior to preparation of food
- Assure that all food procedures are followed
- Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
- Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
- Follow all sanitation guidelines
- Become familiar with new menu items/dishes
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience
- Demonstrated cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
- Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
- Food Service Sanitation Certificate
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
Nice to Have
- Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training
- Experience with quantity food preparation
