About This Role

Perform a variety of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction, including landscape maintenance, operating small machinery, and assisting with course setup. The role requires performing semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers
• Operate small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material
• Assist with course detail such as weed and debris clean up
• Assist with golf course set-up procedures
• Operate utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris
• Perform skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.)
• Operate equipment safely and be aware of associates and their prospective work areas
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance

Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; entry level
