Graphic Designer & Illustrator

About This Role

Join a fast-growing toy company to conceptualize and develop innovative graphic designs for a wide range of projects, from retail packaging to web and social media assets. This role involves visual storytelling that inspires, engages, and informs, requiring expert knowledge of design software and a strong understanding of aesthetics and branding.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on a wide range of projects using all Adobe Creative Suite to conceptualize and develop innovative graphic designs
• Create projects including retail packaging, logos, POP displays, web and social media assets, presentations, collateral, signage, internal communications, and marketing materials
• Develop concepts via sketching or with design software and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Obtain input from senior managers to ensure that designs meet quality standards
• Update and maintain internal digital assets databases
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using content management system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, illustration, or related discipline
• Expert level with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, etc)
• 3 or more years of experience in professional graphic design
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Thoughtful design
• Hard-working
• Ability to work independently without much direction
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills with great design taste (shown by portfolio)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, illustration, or related discipline
• 3 or more years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a CPG company or creative studio/marketing agency

• Photography experience
• Proficiency with photo-editing software
