Graphic Design Intern

About This Role

The Graphic Design Intern will support the Marketing and Communications team by creating various design assets, such as flyers, ads, newsletters, and social media graphics. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to marketing campaigns and work with multiple target audiences for a non-profit organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the graphic designer on staff with daily tasks
• Assist with in-house advertising efforts
• Execute basic design projects using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Help create content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Assist with taking photos of events, new staff, and annual board of directors
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign projects
• Attend Marketing and Communication team meetings
• Participate in meetings with service lines to identify and execute their marketing needs

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program in a related field
• Must be in junior or senior year of college
• Ability to commit to a college semester’s length of time (estimated 3 months)
