About This Role

The Grab and Go Meal Program Volunteer will assist with assembling and distributing to-go lunches to individuals experiencing food insecurity in downtown Boston. This role involves working with a team to prepare meals and engaging directly with community members to offer support.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and distribute to-go lunches for individuals experiencing food insecurity
  • Work with a small team each Tuesday morning to prepare lunches at Emmanuel Church
  • Support on-site distribution or distribute lunches around the Park Street T Station and Boston Public Library
  • Engage directly with community members by offering meals with kindness, respect, and dignity
