Provide professional travel service assistance to federal government agencies, securing domestic and international air, car, and hotel accommodations, while ensuring adherence to government travel regulations and maintaining high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Secure air, car, and hotel accommodations for contracted government agencies
- Ensure all aspects of booked travel adhere to government travel regulations
- Validate high quality of accommodation and transportation is secured
- Maintain all queues throughout the day
- Initiate cancellation or reservation change processes to completion, including client agency notification
- Provide updates to client agencies regarding travel information and status
- Conduct routine research of travel industry changes, trends, and offerings
- Maintain a professional customer service attitude and demeanor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proactive approach to systems and processes
- Working knowledge of WorldSpan and SABRE GDS
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Positive attitude
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Entry level with travel industry experience preferred
