About This Role

The Subject Teacher at US Vietnam Talent International School develops and delivers curriculum, manages classrooms, assesses student progress, and fosters a positive learning environment. This role is for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Develop teaching plans aligned with the curriculum, school-year tasks, and professional team goals
• Design teaching activities emphasizing clear objectives, content, and effective educational methods suitable for students' characteristics and real-world conditions
• Prepare and design lessons, organize classrooms, and manage pedagogical situations effectively
• Develop supplementary learning materials, improve, and evaluate teaching and learning processes to ensure student progress
• Prepare exam questions, build exam banks, and implement periodic academic evaluations
• Provide effective academic support for students
• Report regularly or unexpectedly on student academic progress to the Board of Directors, proposing solutions and coordinating implementation
• Act as an ambassador for UTS's core values (Integrity, Respect, Courage, Dedication, Lifelong Learning, Creativity) and integrate them into teaching and student education
• Coordinate closely with parents, teachers, and relevant social organizations to organize educational activities and monitor students' learning and training
• Build a strong relationship and communication channel between the school and parents as regulated
• Participate in organizing extracurricular activities and clubs to foster character and talent development in students
• Provide emotional, mental, and psychological support to students to create a happy, safe, dedicated, and creative learning environment for all students
• Perform professional tasks as assigned by the Vice Principal (or Academic Assistant) or Subject Head (Mentor teacher)
• Participate in class observations when assigned, contribute ideas, and share experiences with teachers in the professional team
• Develop teaching plans that effectively integrate teaching methods, including project-based learning, develop supplementary subject materials, and create teaching aids
• Utilize all opportunities for professional development through specialized training programs, internal training, or workshops
• Attend group/department/school meetings to receive updates on rules, regulations, and policies
• Understand and comply with the regulations, guidelines, and policies of the Department and the School
• Participate in organizing school events and community activities
• Act as a proactive ambassador in the school's recruitment efforts
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors

Requirements

• University degree in Education or a relevant major (or a university degree in a relevant major with a teaching certificate)
• 2+ years of experience in general education teaching
• Capacity for learning and passion for educational innovation
• Proficient communication skills, dynamic, enthusiastic, creative

Qualifications

• University degree in Education or a relevant major (or a university degree in a relevant major with a teaching certificate)
• 2+ years of experience in general education teaching

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Natural Sciences or Social Sciences for Secondary level
• Experience as a homeroom teacher for Secondary level
• Strengths or talents beyond teaching
• Proficiency in IT applications for teaching
• Intermediate English proficiency or higher
