General Urologist

About This Role

Join AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region as a General Urologist, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urologic care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality surgical and non-surgical treatments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system
• Review and document patient medical histories accurately
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging
• Utilize specialized equipment for diagnosis and treatment
• Perform urologic surgeries and procedures as clinically indicated
• Manage lower urinary tract disorders and related conditions
• Prescribe medications for infections, injuries, and urologic conditions
• Provide expert consultations and coordinate referrals to other specialists when necessary
• Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurse practitioners
• Participate in call coverage as determined by program needs
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and organizational standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of accredited urology residency
• Board certification or eligibility in Urology
• Active State Medical License
• DEA registration
• Current BLS Certification
• Proficiency with modern medical technologies and surgical techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations
• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Leadership skills with a collaborative team approach
• Competence in navigating multiple EMR systems
• Effective time management and organizational skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of accredited urology residency
