Support the team by handling materials and preparing tooling according to production schedules for a manufacturing operation. This role involves operating hand and power tools, cleaning used tooling, and performing tasks with little to no supervision.
Responsibilities
- Review daily schedule and ensure all materials are available and ready for use
- Clean and prepare used tooling
- Operate hand tools like screwdrivers and wrenches
- Operate tool measuring devices like hand and computer system gages
- Input and communicate test results and billing system information
- Provide input to help solve manufacturing problems or issues relating to setup
- Operate machine shop equipment (saws, sanders, and sandblasters) as needed
Requirements
- Capable of following tasks and instruction sheets
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Ability to multitask and focus on details
- Possess necessary mechanical skills and understanding of how to use tools
- Able to stand, walk, and repeatedly lift for extended periods
- Comply with all safety guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
