This role is responsible for overseeing export operations, assisting with daily Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) processing duties, and ensuring compliance with various regulations including Hazardous Materials and TSCA declarations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee Export transactions with PAC outbound, and forwarders/carriers
- Assist FTZ administrator in daily FTZ processing
- Carry out all FTZ daily operations including CF-214 transmission in the administrator's absence
- Oversee creation and transmission of QP’s (CF-7512) and resolve any issues with timely transmission
- Ensure all inbounds are closed out (Arrived/Exported) per CBP requirements
- Coordinate/send data to filers for EEI Filing and follow up to obtain filed data
- Properly classify parts and articles pursuant to U.S. HTS
- Maintain records for export related documents to properly comply with any government audit
- Process Hazardous Materials approvals in Chemical registry and file TSCA declarations
- Train PAC outbound team with QP and Export related processes including TR-Integration Point
Requirements
- Understanding in Import and Export compliance
- Emphasis on Export Compliance Regulations including TSA, NVOCC, CBP, and Census
- Knowledgeable with Inbound Shipping and CF-7512/QP
- Knowledgeable with FTZ Operations including CF-214 transmissions
- Experience in US HTS Classification
- Familiar with Hazardous Materials and the required documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, or 2-3 years of experience
- Entry level, 2-3 years of experience if no Bachelor's degree
