About This Role

This role is for a part-time Multi-platform Video Editor at NBC Sports Bay Area, responsible for creating compelling digital video content for various platforms, primarily focusing on studio and game productions. The editor will prioritize content production, ensure accuracy, and make informed decisions using digital analytics, all while working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish videos on various websites and social media platforms using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop, etc.)
• Prioritize production of content and ensure it’s engaging, accurate, informative and current on all platforms
• Use digital analytics and audience awareness to make informed decisions on video choice
• Communicate across multiple groups and work under tight deadlines to deliver produced video

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of video production experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects and Photoshop
• Experience editing and publishing content in a fast-paced environment
• Solid writing skills with knowledge of AP style and SEO
• Proven knowledge of Bay Area teams and general sports

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of video production experience, preferably in sports, with experience editing and publishing content in a fast-paced environment.
