About This Role

This role will focus on selling licenses to new, external franchisees, emphasizing high-net-worth individuals, multi-unit operators, and small private equity groups. This individual will expand ServiceMaster Brands' footprint by targeting well-capitalized operators and guiding candidates through diligence to ensure sound investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new franchise license sales by cultivating relationships with external, well-capitalized operators
  • Support underwriting of potential investments, leveraging financial modeling to help candidates accurately assess return on investment
  • Confidently articulate brand value proposition to sophisticated buyers and investors
  • Manage multiple inbound lead sources while also proactively generating outbound leads
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Operations) to streamline the franchisee evaluation, approval, and onboarding process
  • Track, report, and forecast franchise development activity, including deal pipeline and projected growth by market
  • Represent SMB at industry events, conferences, and private equity networking forums to generate leads and elevate brand presence

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in franchise development, business development, or investment sales
  • Strong record of closing deals with multi-unit operators or high-net-worth groups
  • Ability to underwrite deals and walk candidates through financial modeling
  • Proven success in cultivating trust and credibility with sophisticated buyers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inbound leads while building creative outbound channels
  • Skilled at navigating complex deal structures and moving candidates through the pipeline to close
  • Confident discussing investment structures, underwriting, and financial outcomes
  • Persistent closer with urgency and accountability to growth goals
  • Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree
