This is a Founding Account Executive role to own and scale revenue at Halliday, focusing on selling payments or financial infrastructure products to customers. This position involves managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, building and forecasting pipeline, and influencing product direction.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close
- Build, manage, and forecast pipeline
- Lead high-quality discovery and tailored demos with senior, technical and business stakeholders
- Represent the voice of the customer and influence product direction with Halliday’s product team
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fintech, with a strong track record as a closing AE
- Competitive team player, high energy, strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Experience selling payments, financial infrastructure, or adjacent fintech products
- Proven ability to sell technical products to both technical and business buyers
- Strong judgment, executive presence, and deal ownership
- Enterprise Sales Mentality employing a framework such as MEDDPICC, Solution Selling, Consultative Selling
- CRM proficient
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fintech, with a strong track record as a closing AE
Nice to Have
- Experience with crypto, blockchain, or Web3 products or customers
- Experience selling APIs, developer tools, or platform products
- Prior experience as a founding or early AE
