Food Transporter/Delivery Driver

About This Role

The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering food, supplies, and other products to various units using a company vehicle. This role involves managing inventory, loading and unloading orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Pick up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk
• Receive and inventory completed production orders from staging clerk
• Load orders onto truck safely with assistance from staging clerks
• Unload requisitioned materials at delivery site
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines for food and equipment handling
• Ensure hot and cold food items comply with company standards and sanitation requirements
• Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned vehicle
• Perform routine maintenance on truck
• Interact with coworkers to ensure company service standards
• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Hospitality or food service experience
