The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering food, supplies, and other products to various units using a company vehicle. This role involves managing inventory, loading and unloading orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Pick up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk
- Receive and inventory completed production orders from staging clerk
- Load orders onto truck safely with assistance from staging clerks
- Unload requisitioned materials at delivery site
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines for food and equipment handling
- Ensure hot and cold food items comply with company standards and sanitation requirements
- Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
- Maintain general cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- Perform routine maintenance on truck
- Interact with coworkers to ensure company service standards
- Provide quality customer service with attention to detail
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Hospitality or food service experience
