About This Role

This role involves performing various duties related to food preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties related to the preparation and serving of food
• Prepare some food items
• Wash dishes or pots
• Deliver trays
• Assemble trays
• Stock floor supplies
• Operate as a cashier
• Serve on the line
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, cafeteria, and patient dishes
• Maintain departmental requirements for cleanliness
• Comply with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Ability to read and write

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write
• At least 1 year experience working in restaurants, hospitals or institutional kitchens or customer service oriented business.

Nice to Have

• High School graduate or G.E.D.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, age specific dietary needs and HIPAA requirements
• ServSafe or HACCP certification current
