About This Role

As a Food Service Cashier at Northside Hospital, you will be responsible for performing opening, closing, stocking, clerical, cashier, and money management tasks in the retail areas. You will assist patients, families, and others while maintaining sound public relations.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening, closing, stocking, clerical, cashier tasks in retail areas
• Manage money and perform accurate cash transactions of customer purchases
• Exercise courtesy and patience while assisting patients, families, and others

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to perform simple math computations
• Ability to operate standard cash registers
• Good communication skills

Nice to Have

• Six (6) months prior experience in cashiering, customer service or cash collections
