Food Server

About This Role

Serve food and beverages to guests in a fast-paced entertainment venue, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to all service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of food and beverage service in various venue areas
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of dining and service areas
• Greet guests and respond to inquiries promptly
• Ensure guests have an enjoyable experience
• Possess in-depth knowledge of all menu items and specials
• Ensure appropriate utensils and condiments are present
• Obtain food and drink orders from guests
• Collect and process payments
• Operate POS system accurately and efficiently
• Communicate problems or guest concerns to management

Requirements

• Valid Food Worker / Health Card
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
• Experience in customer service, food service, or restaurant
• Ability to build rapport with guests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and reading skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to become familiar with menu, preparation procedures and prices
• Ability to work closely and efficiently with others
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to handle a food server's tray (20-35 pounds)
• Ability to move throughout the venue during entire shift
• Ability to stand for entire shift

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in customer service, food service, restaurant or other related fields, and previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant
