Food Preparer

About This Role

Serve as a part-time Food Preparer, responsible for daily fresh food preparation and adherence to sanitation guidelines at Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Cut and prep all menu items fresh daily
• Perform daily product mix planning in conjunction with the general manager
• Review menus prior to preparation of food
• Assure that all food procedures are followed
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary (catering)
• Assist with the purchase and inventory of food supply
• Follow all sanitation guidelines
• Become familiar with new menu items/dishes

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience
• Demonstrated cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
• Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required

Nice to Have

• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training
• Experience with quantity food preparation
