Food Preparer

About This Role

Prepare and cut all menu items fresh daily, ensuring adherence to all food preparation and sanitation guidelines. Coordinate with the general manager on daily product mix planning and assist with food supply inventory.

Responsibilities

• Cut and prep all menu items fresh daily
• Perform daily product mix planning in conjunction with general manager
• Review menus prior to preparation of food
• Assure that all food procedures are followed
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary (catering)
• Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
• Follow all sanitation guidelines
• Become familiar with new menu items/dishes

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience
• Demonstrated cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
• Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required

Nice to Have

• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training
• Experience with quantity food preparation
