FMS Financial Analyst, Senior

About This Role

Serve as a Senior FMS Financial Analyst in Patuxent River, MD, supporting NAVAIR PMA by managing business financial activities for Foreign Military Sales, including pre-case, execution, reconciliation, and closure. Analyze program financial requirements and apply expertise in DoD financial policies and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform business financial management activities in support of FMS pre-case, case execution, reconciliation, and case closure activities
• Analyze total program financial requirements for development of P&A, LOA, amendments, modifications, revisions and other pricing elements
• Apply knowledge of financial management functions, processes, and analytical methods to evaluate program information required for the BFM and Program/Case Manager
• Prepare P&As, LOAs, amendments, modifications, and revisions within DSAMS
• Maintain CEPT and participate in Financial Management Reviews (FMR)

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience performing FMS financial analyst duties
• Knowledge of DoD FMR, FAR, PPBE, and DoN procurement policies and procedures
• Experience in the preparation of P&As, LOAs, amendments, modifications, and revisions within DSAMS
• Experience in case reconciliation, case management, and case closure
• Experience in maintaining CEPT and participation in Financial Management Reviews (FMR)
• Demonstrated knowledge of FMS financial policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of DOD SAP policies and procedures relating to FMS
• Experience in NERP, DSAMS, MISIL, SCIP, and DIFS, and other DoD financial automated accounting & budgeting systems

Qualifications

• MS/MA Degree or equivalent experience
• Over 8 years of experience performing FMS financial analyst duties, including experience in NERP, DSAMS, MISIL, SCIP, DIFS, and other DoD financial automated accounting & budgeting systems.

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of DOD policies and procedures relating to FMS
