About This Role

This role involves supervising floor operations, maintaining facilities, and executing bar activities, focusing on inventory management, beverage preparation, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Close the restaurant on a nightly basis
  • Manage customer transactions and follow cash handling procedures
  • Adhere to defined storeroom and bar workflow processes
  • Receive incoming shipments for the warehouse and bars, verify items against purchase orders, and report discrepancies
  • Label and store received materials
  • Store inventory safely and in compliance with standards
  • Utilize inventory software (EATEC) for product movement documentation
  • Conduct periodic inventory cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Prepare for and participate in audits
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
  • Serve guests at the bar or in the Bar/Tavern/Al Forno area
  • Assist in Dining Rooms with beverage service, food service, and table maintenance as needed
  • Ensure physical security barriers are secure at all times
  • Maintain clean warehouse and bar spaces, keeping walkways clear

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year experience preparing cocktails, maintaining wine and liquor inventory, and handling customer transactions in fine dining
  • One year experience in dining room supervision
  • Proficient in basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to pass a bar knowledge test

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience preparing cocktails, maintaining wine and liquor inventory, and handling customer transactions in a fine dining establishment. Minimum one (1) year of experience in dining room supervision.

Nice to Have

  • MICROS POS experience
  • TIPS Certification
