Join FOX Rehabilitation as a part-time Fitness Specialist in the Shrewsbury, NJ area, providing exercise programs to older adults to maintain functional levels after rehabilitation. This role offers strong support from leadership and clinical education.
Responsibilities
- Prescribe exercise programs to patients to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services
- Routinely travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities
- Expand territory as needed
- Travel as needed per practice requirements
Requirements
- Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology ORO Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA) OR prior experience as a fitness trainer with willingness to become a Certified Personal Trainer
- CPR Certification
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology, or prior experience as a fitness trainer
- Prior experience working with older adults in a proactive and wellness setting preferred
