Serve as the front desk receptionist, greeting and directing members and guests, managing gym access, and assisting with membership inquiries and sales, while maintaining a clean and welcoming front desk area.
Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym
- Personally check each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures
- Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures
- Provide new guests with a tour of the gym and help answer questions about current membership options
- Assist guests with purchasing a new membership
- Answer phone in a professional and courteous manner and use proper phone greeting techniques
- Process retail and concession sales
- Clean and maintain the front desk area
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members
- Ability to multi-task
