Perform inspections, testing, and documentation of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial facilities to ensure code compliance and communicate findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25
- Conduct inspection and testing of fire alarm systems per NFPA 72
- Identify deficiencies, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
- Complete accurate digital inspection reports and ensure compliance with AHJ requirements
- Coordinate inspections with facility managers, property owners, and building engineers
- Support re-inspections and follow-up visits as needed
- Maintain inspection tools, testing equipment, and company vehicle
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies at all times
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience inspecting fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm systems
- Working knowledge of NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards
- Experience with commercial and multi-tenant buildings
- Ability to work independently and manage daily inspection schedules
- Comfortable using mobile devices and inspection software
- Clean driving record
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience inspecting fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm systems
Nice to Have
- NICET certification (Fire Alarm or Water-Based Systems)
