About This Role

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, specifications, and industry regulations for a professional team. Collaborate with construction professionals and ensure system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of existing sprinkler systems
• Test and troubleshoot sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate systems effectively
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during installation and maintenance
• Document installation processes, maintenance activities, and system inspections
• Provide guidance and training to junior installers and apprentices
• Respond to emergency repair requests and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to fire sprinkler systems

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation or related field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) codes and regulations
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical and technical skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel to various job sites
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb. objects upstairs
• Ability to crawl under tables and climb ladders
• Ability to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as scaffolding and high lift equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation or related field

Nice to Have

• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification

Certifications
